Company

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. is a uranium mining company focused on the precision exploration of projects in the Canadian Athabasca Basin (the “Basin”), the world’s richest uranium region. Through its strategic approach to exploration, the company secured ten highly prospective projects of defined potential in the Basin.

Its flagship project is the Hook Lake project, a joint venture with two of the largest uranium producers in the world, Cameco Corporation and Orano Resources Canada Inc. (formerly Areva Canada Inc.).

Operated by Purepoint since 2007, Hook Lake is located in the Patterson Uranium District, a corridor lying across the SW edge of the Basin, interpreted to extend at least 50km and hosting Fission Uranium’s Triple R deposit, NexGen’s Arrow deposit and Purepoint Uranium’s Spitfire discovery (53.3% U3O8 over 1.3 metres including a 10 metres interval of 10.3% U3O8).
